ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Resident Evil: Afterlife | #UmbrellaCorporation #Zombies

Next up on Zombie Film Friday is Resident Evil: Afterlife.

I loved this installment of the franchise for quite a few reasons—the evolution of the zombies, Kim Coates, and all the scenes in the prison. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it.

mv5bmtkxnzm3otg5of5bml5banbnxkftztcwmda5mda2mw-_v1_ux182_cr00182268_al_In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead – and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

My Rating: A+

Interesting Facts: During filming, Milla Jovovich accidentally shot out a $100,000 camera; this is the only film in the series without the trademark close-up shot to Alice’s eye, and without any scene with Alice waking up from slumber; and the weird creatures with the flower-like mouths are called majini and are lifted directly from the video games.

And now it’s time for the trailer…
