ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Daylight’s End | #zombies #apocalypse

An average zombie movie is really all I can say about Daylight’s End. It wasn’t terrible but there was nothing new that makes it stand out from the rest of the crowd. I will say I quite enjoyed seeing Lance Henriksen in this!

MV5BOTg5MzE4MzAxNF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNzU3OTk0OTE@._V1_Years after a mysterious plague has devastated the planet and turned most of humanity into blood-hungry creatures, a rogue drifter on a vengeful hunt stumbles across a band of survivors in an abandoned police station and reluctantly agrees to try to help them defend themselves and escape to the sanctuary they so desperately need.

My Rating: B

Interesting Facts: Awarded Best Picture (Feature), 2016 Comicpalooza Houston, TX;  the movie was also released in a interactive virtual reality experience; and a plan by the survivors in the movie was to make it to the southern tip of the Baja peninsula because the zombies could not walk that far in under one day (At the beginning of the movie, Rourke comes across a zombie girl holed up at an abandoned gas station in the middle of the desert inside of a freezer just after sunrise. The scene suggests it would have taken too long for the zombie to reach another city in less than a day.).

And now its time for the trailer…
