Beverly Hills Bodysnatchers combines two of the oddest genres—movies involving the mafia and movies involving zombies. It’s got it’s moments but don’t expect too much from this 80s blast from the past!
A doctor and a mortician have teamed up to do re-animation experiments on corpses using gangster money loaned for “remodeling.” When they can’t pay it back, the Mafia guy sends his nephews to work at the funeral home to keep a watch on the debtors, but the nephews end up helping in the search for new bodies, and mayhem ensues when some undesirable types are re-animated.

Interesting Facts: Rodney Eastman and Brooke Bundy also appeared together in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988); the movie premiered at Cannes in 1989; and in Brazil, it’s title is Ladrões de Defuntos de Beverly Hills.
