I saw Zombieland: Double Tap last weekend and loved every freaking minute of it!! It was great to see the ragtag group of Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock again—and the action and laughs didn’t let up. Highly recommend seeing Zombieland: Double Tap!! Oh and make sure you stay to the end of the credits; trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.
My Rating: A++
Interesting Facts: The Elvis classic “Burning Love” that is played during the end credits was performed by Woody Harrelson; Jesse Eisenberg said that it was very difficult to keep a straight face while filming scenes with Zoey Deutch (and I can certainly see why!); Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch’s characters are called Albuquerque and Flagstaff respectively. These were going to be the original names of Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg’s characters respectively before Tallahassee and Columbus were chosen for them; and the end of the film reveals that “Day Zero” (the beginning of the zombie apocalypse) coincided with the 2009 release of ‘Garfield 3: Flabby Tabby’ and shows a zombie outbreak during the press interviews for the film with Bill Murray. Bill Murray never made a third Garfield film.
