ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Dance of the Dead | #Zombies #prom

Looking for a indie film with a classic movie feel? Look no further! Dance of the Dead hits all the right notes and I’m sure you’ll agree. Have you seen it? Let me know what you think!

downloadIt is prom night in middle America. Tuxes have been rented and dresses have been bought. But when the dead unexpectedly rise from their graves to eat the living, it’s up to the geeks, the nerds, the outcast and the losers who couldn’t get dates to the dance to save the town from the undead. Unlikely heroes will rise to the challenge as they are forced to put aside their differences and band together to fight for their lives. Armed with bats, sledgehammers, garden tools and guitars, this rag-tag group of high-school teens are in for a prom night they will never forget.

My Rating: B+

Interesting Facts: Carissa Capobianco came up with the line “But I don’t know how to shoot a machete” during her audition for the role of Gwen; Unlike most zombie films, aside from the sound of sirens in a very early scene, there are no police officers or military soldiers present or seen at anytime in the film; and the poster for the film has an uncanny resemblance to the Shaun Of The Dead poster.

And now it’s time for the trailer…
