ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAYS: Train to Busan | #zombies #survival #southkorea

I watched Train to Busan shortly after it was released in 2016 and loved it. Since then, I’ve likely watched it 5 or 6 times and still find it engaging. If you haven’t seen, I highly recommend it!

Train+to+BusanSok-woo, a father with not much time for his daughter, Soo-ahn, are boarding the KTX, a fast train that shall bring them from Seoul to Busan. But during their journey, the apocalypse begins, and most of the earth’s population become flesh craving zombies. While the KTX is shooting towards Busan, the passenger’s fight for their families and lives against the zombies – and each other.

My Rating: A

Interesting Facts: Train to Busan is the sixth highest grossing domestic film of all time in South Korea; Sohee, who plays the character Jin-hee, is an ex member of the famous K-POP group Wonder Girls; the word ‘zombie’ is mentioned once in this film; and it’s the first ever South Korean zombie apocalypse action thriller film.

And now it’s time for the trailer…
