ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Fido | #ZomCom

I’m in need of a good laugh and sometimes, the ZomCom is the way to go. If you’ve never seen Fido, give it a shot. It’s terrific!

But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family. A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, “FIDO” will rip your heart out.

My Rating: A

Interesting Facts: Billy Connolly accepted the role of Fido in the weeks before filming since he was interested in the acting challenge of making the character compelling without any dialogue; Timmy’s bedroom contains curtains and a bedspread depicting action scenes from the zombie war; and the pregnancy subplot involving Carrie-Anne Moss’ character Helen Robinson was only added because Moss was really pregnant during filming, and they added the pregnancy scenes to keep the continuity through the movie as she grew larger.

And now it’s time for the trailer…

Get in on the action!
