ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Flight of the Living Dead | #TerrorInTheSkies

I bought this movie on DVD without actually having seen it because I’m a Zombieholic and I ended up really enjoying it. If you’re a fan of Zombies in truly inescapable places, consider giving this one a watch.

images.jpgA fellow scientist accidentally escapes containment aboard a plane during turbulence. After she is gunned down by a security guard, she reanimates as a zombie, killing and infecting several passengers and crew members on board the flight. A U.S. federal air marshall, along with a police officer, a flight attendant and a handful of survivors, must ride out the horrific flight just long enough to stay alive.

My Rating: B+

Interesting Facts: The amount of blood on First Officer Ray’s shirt, when he comes out of the cargo hold, keeps changing between shots; when the Pentagon is shown, the captioning says that it is in Washington, DC, but the Pentagon is actually in Arlington, Virginia; and during the discussion at the Pentagon, there is talk of a new strain of “malaria virus.” (FYI — Malaria is caused by Plasmodium, a protozoan parasite, not a virus).

And now it’s time for the trailer…
