ZOMBIE FILM FRIDAY: Zombie Night

I wouldn’t classify Zombie Night as a high-end, blockbuster type film, but it certainly had its enjoyable moments. I found the parts of the film that varied too far from the zombie mythos highly unbelievable; I mean how can they only have to survive until daylight when the zombies go dormant until night again? But it certainly was different so I have to give the screenwriter kudos for an original idea, however unfeasible I believe it to be. It does have Michael Anthony Hall in it so it can’t be all bad right?

ZombieNightThis is the synopsis and it’s epitomizes the film in all honesty:

Zombies come out at night and two families must survive until morning.

My Rating: C

Interesting Facts: It stars Daryl Hannah and Anthony Michael Hall; it was once titled’ Dark Night of the Living Dead’; The writer of the tale, Richard Schenkman has had an interesting past that includes writing children’s books, being one of the original staffers at MTV, and has collaborated many times with Jon Cryer (another 80s alum).

And now it’s time for the trailer…
