Zombie Film Fridays: 13 Eerie

Okay so I happened to watch 13 Eerie the other day before bed. It was an interesting little zombie film without a big budget and filmed in Canada. I have to say that while there were parts that made me cringe (and not in the good way), I still enjoyed it overall. It could have been the added body farm/forensics angle though…

Six forensic undergrads embark on a scientific expedition to a remote island that was once used as illegal biological testing grounds for life-term prisoners.

My Rating: B-

Interesting Facts: Today (Jan 17) is director Lowell Dean’s birthday; the zombies are thought of as uniquely crafted with head and body tattoos highlighting their design; and it’s been touted as an 80’s zombie horror throwback that gives the sub-genre a refreshment.

And now it’s time for the trailer!
