Last week I talked about one of my favourite cheesy Zombie movies and since it has a sequel, this week we’re going to take a look at Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever. Better yet, watch them in sequence if you can and don’t drink the water!
A high school prom faces a deadly threat: a flesh-eating virus that spreads via a popular brand of bottled water.
My Rating: A-
Interesting Facts: The school mascot is a rabbit and in the original Cabin Fever, Paul sees a guy in a rabbit suit at the hospital, Paul (Rider Strong) and Deputy Winston Olsen (Giuseppe Andrews) are the only characters from the first film to appear in the sequel, and according to Fangoria magazine there were two separate drafts of Cabin Fever 2 written in 2004 (One by famed original director Eli Roth and one by genre favorite Adam Green. However due to internal politics at Lionsgate both Green and Roth’s scripts were set aside to bring in a completely new vision. When the film was eventually finished, it was shelved for several years).
Really liked the 1st Cabin Fever film, never got round to seeing Cabin Fever 2, sounds good. Will have to check it out!
I loved the first cabin Fever movie because of the cheesiness in it. The second movie was fantastic as well! I’d love to hear your thoughts when you’ve seen it Paul 🙂
